Diane Yeager serves as the Director of Children’s Ministries. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was in college. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood endorsement from the University of Arizona. She taught in Tucson Unified School District for 16 years before coming to El Camino. She has been on staff here for 7 years. She and her husband Jeff also served as volunteers on the youth staff at El Camino for 8 years.
Diane was the middle daughter in an Air Force family. Having only sisters, she was thrilled that God blessed her with 4 sons so she could experience the world through the eyes of active little boys. She is thoroughly enjoying the young adults years with them now. She has one amazing daughter-in-law and looks forward to three more someday, and is hoping for an entire tribe of grandchildren!
Her greatest passion is that every person, no matter their age or stage of life, has the opportunity to clearly hear that God loves them so much that He sent His only Son to die to pay for their sins so they can live forever with Him. That personal relationship has made all the difference in the world in her life, and she desires that same life changing, life enriching relationship for everyone else too.
Psalms 139:23-24 (NIV): “Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.”
