How Will We Achieve Our Vision

Mission Statement

Develop a passionate desire to know God more intimately, to obey Him in all areas of our lives and to demonstrate His love to others by loving each other. We will do this by encouraging and developing the following aspects of our spiritual lives:

The Greatest Commandments
Matthew 22:36-40 (NASB): " 'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?' And He said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

Diligent in Loving God

  • Developing an Intimate Relationship With God

John 17:3 (NASB): "This is the eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."

  • Committing to continual Spiritual Growth

Hebrews 5:12-14 (NASB): "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementaryprinciples of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil."

  • Striving for Spiritual Maturity

Galatians 5:22-25 (NASB): "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit."

Diligent in Loving Others

  • Obedience in Sharing Our Faith

Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB): "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

  • Developing a Servant’s Heart

Philippians 2:3-4 (NASB): "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard on another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."

Mark 10:45 (NASB): "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
